✦ General Concept ✦
Whenever someone looks at her or when she feels the crushing weight of attention, she freezes —literally— into a cold, stone statue.
Miyu is plagued by deep social anxiety and an overwhelming fear of being in the spotlight. She longs for connection but is terrified of being seen, her heart heavy with the burden of her own emotions. When gazed upon, she turns to stone as if trying to protect herself from the vulnerability of being watched. Her quiet nature hides a deep well of kindness and empathy, but her crippling fear of social interactions keeps her distant from those she wishes to help.
In her stony form, she stands frozen in time, waiting for the shadows to cloak her again so she can move freely once more. Her tear-stained face remains etched in stone, symbolizing the sadness she carries within—a sadness that she can never truly escape. Miyu's presence is like the whisper of the wind, soft and fleeting, and she moves through life hoping to one day have a friend, her gentle heart always hiding behind a shield of stone ...
Her name is Miyu― just Miyu, she has no family to be named or looked after but neither do the other weeping angels.
